Moistureisthekeyfactoraffectingthephysicalandmechanicalpropertiesofwoodaswellasitsstorage,processinganduse.Therefore,therelationshipbetweenwoodandmoisturehasalwaysbeenonekeyresearchtopicinwoodscience.Earlystudiesfocusedonthemeasurementofmoisturecontentofwoodandtheestablishmentandmodificationofthemodelofmoisturecontent.Withtheapplicationofhighspeedcomputerandadvancedanalyticalinstrumentwithspatialresolution,newstudiesonmoisturedistributionandexistingstateinwoodareemerging.Here,thisbookisabouttheabovekeyissuesinthestudyoftherelationshipbetweenwoodandmoisture,thedistributionandexistingstatesofmoistureinwood.Inthisbook,itwasfocusedonthedistributionandexistingstatesofmoistureinthewoodcellwallbyusingmicro-FTIRspectroscopyandconfocalRamanspectroscopy.Basedonthese,thetheoreticalsysofthemoisturesorptionofwoodatthecellularandmolecularlevelcanbeestablishedandthetheoreticalguidancetoimprovethesetechnologiesofwoodmodification,wooddryingandpreparingthehigh-valuewoodenmaterialcanbeprovided.
